Thank God it's Friday! Im super excited about this weekend because I'll be shooting some new material for the blog & working with a new photographer :D Todays post is all about my two favorite topics! Shoes & Art! As we all know, I rather wear heels anyday over sneakers, but when I saw these babies I couldn't resist! Last week I was strolling through twitter when I saw the brand "Bucketfeet" the name immediately caught my attention & the online shopping began! This brand caters to both men & women & since every piece of fabric is crafted by hand by local artisans in India, every shoe is truly one-of-a-kind, which made it so hard to choose! Not to mention the BucketFeet movement spans over 25,000 artists in 100 countries! Each shoe was specially designed by an Artist. How dope is that? To know exactly who designed your shoe!
The Artist who designed mine is DJ LU
Though the Pineappleade is DJ Lu’s trademark—it can be found everywhere from South American city blocks to several BucketFeet shoes—he has created hundreds of stencils, each of which strikes viewers with a potent mix of artistic beauty and political criticism.
These are super comfortable, I wore them all running errands without any pain!
I chose the black pineapple slip ons because they look super chic & can be dressed up or down for work or pleasure! I love a comfortable shoe that I feel like I can wear anywhere!
