Loving yourself should be easy, however in today's society we are constantly seeing unrealistic things and watching others lives go from rags to riches could all make this simple thing a little bit harder. I have 5 basic rules that I have used throughout my high school/college years that has helped me to become happy with myself.
5 RULES TO SELF LOVE
1. Start telling yourself what you love about yourself.
Write a list of things you love about yourself, and yes the little things like "your amazing attention to detail" counts too! Do not limit yourself to a certain number. Once you have compiled your list, read that list every single day! It will be your daily reminder of why you're so awesome! Look into your eyes often. Express this growing sense of love you have for yourself. Forgive yourself while looking into the mirror.
2.Go out of your way to be loving and kind to others too.
Almost everything comes full circle. People who love themselves come across as very caring, generous and kind to others too; they express their self-confidence through humility, forgiveness and inclusiveness. So seek to understand others before you attempt to judge. And be thankful for rude, difficult people too – they serve as great reminders of how not to be.
3.Give yourself a fair chance to explore new ideas and opportunities.
Don’t let not knowing how it’ll end keep you from beginning. When we act, uncertainty chases us out into the open where opportunity awaits. You will be surprised how much you can learn about yourself just by allowing yourself to do new things! You will also be much happier after trying something new!
4.Distance yourself from those who bring you down.
Being in no relationship is better than being in a wrong one. Don’t worry too much about the ones who don’t worry about you. Know your worth! When you give yourself to those who disrespect you, you lose, big time.. Your friends in life should motivate, inspire and respect you. Your circle should be well rounded and supportive. Keep it tight. Quality over quantity, always. I have lost friends due to lack of support, lack of respect of themselves, lack of motivation (not on my end). I must say after ending a few friendships, I have become a better person and many things have changed!
5.Be patient and keep working for the things that you want.
Be patient with yourself as you learn the new ways of thinking. Treat yourself as you would someone you really loved.

I shared about Ipsy on my other blog (which is nonexistent) but I wanted to share with you guys my experience being that I'm 5 glam bags in!
So far I have been pretty pleased with the items sent to me each month! Most are all sample sized except nail polishes (which some even come in a mini size bottle) lip sticks , eye pencils/liners & brushes. However, I've been getting 5 products in each glam bag! Some are brands I've never tried before, which is great for me because I get to new things without physically trying to Hunt the product down lol. This little treat (as I'd like to call it 😊) is also nice because it's like getting a present every month! Often I forget all about the bag & but when it comes I get really happy!
This is my 5th glam bag!
